So there you have it. Now I'll hit the high points and give you a little insight as to why I picked who I did.

Rich Franklin v. Vitor Belfort (Main Event) - Vitor Belfort has looked great in his last couple of bouts. His decimation of Matt Lindland was especially impressive! He has great striking and great jujitsu skills. That being said, however, Vitor is a fighter that tries to end the fight as quickly as he can. He tends to get sloppy when he has a quality opponent that takes him late into the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Rich Franklin should be able to weather the initial onslaught from Belfort in the first round and then make his move near the 2nd round to hopefully end it with a KO victory.

Mirko Cro Cop v. Junior Dos Santos - While I am a pretty big Cro Cop fan, his last couple of performances have been less than stellar. On the other hand, every time I've seen Junior Dos Santos fight I have been impressed. He definitely has all the tools to be a great MMA fighter. If this bout was the 2006 Cro Cop going against Dos Santos I would be more apt to pick Cro Cop. As it is 2009, I think that Dos Santos will do enough against Cro Cop to eek out a decision victory.
