Those of you that have been coming to my Guy's Nights for the last year or so know how big I am into UFC. For those of you that don't know, we started a fantasy league on http://fantasy.ufc.com where we have to make predictions as to who is going to win each bout of a UFC Pay-Per-View event. Below you will find who I chose for each bout at UFC 101 as well as some explanation (about the main cards at least) as to why I picked them. Also, if you would like to join our fantasy league just shoot me an email through the contact page and we'll get you signed up. Thanks.

So there you have it. Now I'll hit the high points and give you a little insight as to why I picked who I did.
BJ Penn v. Kenny Florian (Main Event) - Most of the guys that I have talked to think that Penn is just going to run over Florian. While I don't think that will be the case, I do think that Penn will eek out a decision victory. I think Penn is frustrated after the lost to GSP and will be looking to take it out on Kenny Florian. Florian, however, has some great tools in his leg kicks and ground defense. This will prove somewhat troublesome for Penn but not enough for him to lose the fight.
Anderson Silva v. Forrest Griffin - Forrest Griffin is definitely a guy that can take a lot of punishment as seen from his last fights. He doesn't, however, have a great track record for recovering from powerful hits. Silva definitely has the power to knock out Griffin and the speed avoid most of his strikes. I like Griffin as a fighter but there is a mystique around Anderson Silva that makes fighters almost starstruck when they fight him. While Griffin has said that he won't let this mystique affect him, I think that his fighting style doesn't match up well against a counter attacker such as Silva.
Hey bro, I agree with the silva/griffin analysis, however, I am one of those guys you speak of on your analysis of penn/florian. Go Penn!!!! See ya tonight bro!
