Well, it's time once again to make my picks for our UFC fantasy league. While I'm not real excited about this card overall, I am very interested in seeing how the main event turns out. I'm not going to watch this card live but we might watch some highlights from it at the next Guy's Night. So there you have it. Now I'll hit the high points and give you a little insight as to why I picked who I did.
Rashad Evans v. Thiago Silva (Main Event) - As I stated in my introduction, this is really the only fight on this card I'm excited about. There's no doubt in my mind that Evans is going to be training hard for this one. He's coming off a pretty hard loss to Lyoto Machida and his initial comeback opponent (Rampage Jackson) has now left the UFC. Silva, on the other hand, is coming off an impressive win over one of Rashad's training buddies Keith Jardine. With the standup game being pretty even between these two, I feel that Rashad's biggest advantage over Silva is his wrestling but he has been hesitant to use it in his last couple of fights. Silva has a pretty big advantage on the ground which I think he will use to wear out Rashad and get a TKO victory in the second round.
