So there you have it. Now I'll hit the high points and give you a little insight as to why I picked who I did.

Randy Couture v. Brandon Vera (Main Event) - While I think this fight will be closer than many people are speculating, I still think that Randy will pull out the win. Brandon has looked good in his last couple of outings since he has moved to light heavyweight, however, he still has a problem with getting his offense on without initiating it himself. Randy should be able to capitalize on this with his wresting basically neutralizing Brandon's excellent Muay Tai. I see Randy taking him down to the ground, working some punches and position on Brandon and getting by with a unanimous decision.

Mike Swick v. Dan Hardy - When we went to UFC 103, I was quite disappointed that Mike Swick had to drop out of his fight with Martin Kampmann due to a concussion while training. I think that Dan Hardy will be a much tougher test for Mike making this bout more of a true number one contender match for the welterweight title. Dan is obviously the more technical fighter here and will give Swick some problems in the match. Swick has shown, however, that he has some great power in his hands and good wrestling. I think that Swick will be able to out position Hardy, land some good shots and ultimately get the decision.
